On Monday 5th September 2022, we’ll be performing upgrades to the databases which power Web Behaviour Tracking. We’re making these changes to enhance connectivity and improve security. All regions will be affected for approximately 30 minutes during this maintenance window.
Local times for the maintenance:
- 07:30 - 08:00 BST (London) - 02:30 - 03:00 EDT (New York) - 23:30 (Sun 4th Sept) - 00:00 (Mon 5th Sept) PDT (San Francisco)
During this maintenance window, there will be a period of time where webinsights and cartinsights will not be captured. This means any automated actions driven by/from these data collections will be temporarily interrupted. This will specifically impact:
- Segments: Results will not be accurate if using rules based on these data collections - Abandoned Cart Programs: Programs using Web Behaviour Data to execute email sends will be interrupted. There are two possible scenarios: 1. No Abandoned Cart email sent: As cartinsight data is not captured for a short period, no Abandoned Cart emails will be sent to those contacts 2. Unexpected Abandoned Cart email sent: Not all customer purchases will be captured during the maintenance. This could mean an Abandoned Cart email is sent to a contact who purchased the items in their Cart.
All other aspects of our platform will continue to work as normal. Meaning, you’ll still have full access to your account via the portal and the API.
